If you use more than one monitor, Wallspace lets you set a different live wallpaper on each display. Here's how to set it up.
How it works
Wallspace automatically detects all connected displays. When you open the app, you'll see each monitor listed separately. Simply select a display and choose a wallpaper for it -- each screen operates independently.
Common setups
- MacBook + external monitor -- Different wallpapers on each, both running smoothly
- Dual external monitors -- Full support for any multi-monitor configuration
- Ultrawide displays -- Wallpapers scale to fill the full resolution
Performance
Running wallpapers on multiple displays does use slightly more resources, but on Apple Silicon Macs, the impact is negligible. CPU usage typically stays under 3% even with two 4K displays running different wallpapers.
Multi-display support is available on both Free and Pro plans.
